At ZENEA, “Appreciate Every Moment” is one of our core philosophies. This is how we approach our business as well as our personal lives. As a show of our appreciation, we’re so excited to announce our fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Canada. Introducing…The Travelling Watch Fundraiser!

What Are We Doing?

Starting on Canada Day, July 1st 2021, we’ll be sending a ZENEA timepiece across the country, one Canadian at a time. From watch enthusiasts to business leaders and even some surprise guests, each participant will have up to one week with the timepiece, before sending it off to the next participant.

Accompanying the ZENEA Time Traveler on this journey will be a journal, documenting the day-to-day travels. Each month, we’ll be sharing the exciting journey of this watch, on social media as well as our blog, before finally auctioning off the timepiece and journal--along with some other exciting items-- at the end of the year, with 100% of the proceeds provided directly to Habitat for Humanity.

Who Benefits from The Fundraiser?

From leather bands to stainless steel, big dials to small dials, minimalist or iced out—Everyone has a favourite style of watch. We believe the one thing every watch has in common is that it serves as a reminder to appreciate every moment and to cherish the time that we share with each other.

This is why we’ve selected Habitat for Humanity Canada to be our charity of choice for the ZENEA Time Traveler Watch Fundraiser. Caught in punishing cycles of unpredictable rent increases, overcrowded conditions, or lack of access to affordable financing, many Canadian families live with a constant burden of uncertainty, stress, and fear.

Our goal is for the ZENEA Time Traveler to raise awareness and funds to help deserving Canadian families get an opportunity to appreciate every moment in their own homes. As part of our commitment to helping our fellow Canadians, we will be donating 100% of the proceeds from this program to Habitat for Humanity Canada.

How Does it Work?

On Canada Day, July 1st, 2021 we’ll be sending a Snowcap Classic White ULA DIVER from the ZENEA collection off on its 1-year adventure, departing from Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Instead of sleeping on couches, we’ve found over 30 humble Canadians (and counting!) who have agreed to give the watch a place to stay for up to one week each, accompanying them on their wrists during their day-to-day adventures.

Participants will be journaling & posting their time with the watch, while the ZENEA team will be tracking the cumulative KMs travelled by the watch. As the watch travels from coast-to-coast, we’ll be sharing the journey on Instagram @ZENEATimeTraveler.

Along with the ZENEA Time Traveler social media accounts, we’ll also be sharing details of the watch’s travels on our blog. The participants will include Canadian watch enthusiasts, to business leaders, and some surprise guests we can’t wait to announce!

With a wide range of participants spread across the country, the ZENEA Time Traveler will get to experience everything Canada has to offer across all four seasons—from the crisp ocean air of Newfoundland to the hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto, into the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia and everywhere in between.

As the ZENEA Time Traveler explores every corner of Canada, it will be creating a community of all the people that make this country amazing! We hope you’ll join along on this adventure!

At the end of this year long journey, we will be auctioning off the ZENEA Time Traveler Watch, along with the journal accounting for every day of the adventure and some other special items from its travels.
